APL volunteers to host annual car wash fundraiser

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — Animal Protective League (APL) junior volunteers will host their annual car wash fundraiser on Saturday, June 28.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of the Ace Hardware at 1600 Wabash Avenue.

Volunteers will hand wash and dry vehicles for a $5 donation. The money will benefit the dogs and cats in APL's care.

The APL mobile adoption unit will also be there with cats and dogs ready for adoption.
