DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The Decatur Area Arts Council and Gallery 510 are inviting the Decatur community to Arts in Central Park in September.
The event will be in downtown Decatur's Central Park on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20.
40 booths will feature artists from throughout the Midwest, with a variety of artwork for sale, including jewelry, pottery, glass, fiber arts, paintings and more.
Visitors will get the opportunity to meet artists, learn about their work, and take home one-of-a-kind art.
There will also be a creative kids zone for kids to create and buy art, live music, food and drinks.
Arts in Central Park will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on September 19, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 20.Â
The event is also looking for community volunteers to help with artist hospitality, the creative kids zone, festival setup and more. Information about volunteering can be found here.
