DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — A local brunch favorite, Blue Spoon, may be returning to Decatur.
The Blue Spoon initially closed in July of 2018.
Last winter, the owners were in the process of opening a new location. However, on a social media post, they said, "During a moment of clarity, the memories and realization of rising costs, employees, and numerous hoops that come with a full service, brick-and-mortar business hit me like a truck." This realization led the owners to come back in a food truck or trailer.
The brunch favorite will post some Blue Spoon decor, mugs, kitchen equipment, tables, and chairs to help fund a food trailer.
