Champaign's Clark Park remodel expected to finish in late September

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - The Champaign Park District anticipates its Clark Park remodel will finish in late September. 

The News-Gazette reported Monday that the Park District is shooting for a Sept. 30 completion date. 

Changes will include a new playground, an expansion of the basketball court, and the creation of paths and sidewalks throughout the park.

Underground utility and drainage work, along with excavation, is also currently underway at the site.
