Children's Museum of Illinois

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Children's Museum of Illinois has created a new program called "Teach the Tutor." 

The program will help junior high and high school students learn how to teach math to younger kids. 

Teach the Tutor is a five week crash course in tutoring for kids in sixth grade and above. The program will also include information on marketing and pricing a tutoring business and a focus on tutoring younger siblings. 

The program is free, but registration is required. 

Teach the Tutor will be held every Thursday from October 23 to November 20 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Children's Museum. 

There is a free information session on Thursday, October 9 at 5 p.m. at the museum.
