DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Gr8r Mindz, Inc. hosted their first annual Unity in the Community event in Decatur Central Park on Saturday.

They held a "Decatur's Got Talent" show in the park, a gift card giveaway, as well as multiple booths for local business and health initiatives.

Gr8r Mindz, Inc President and Founder Dr. Oliver Brooks said the event was to help the community get engaged in their mission. "We just wanted to do an all in one inclusive event that would get everyone out to be able to engage, have the youth involved, and the community [to] get some health awareness." Dr. Brooks said.
