DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Get ready to have a scary good time with your boo or with family during Boo at the Zoo. 

The event will take place right before Halloween on the last two weekends of October, and Oct. 29 and 30 at Scovill Zoo in Decatur. Times for Boo at the Zoo are as follows:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 29, 5:30-8 p.m.
  • Thursdays and Fridays, Oct. 16, 17, 23, 24 and 30, 5:30-8 p.m.
  • Saturdays and Sundays, Oct. 18 and 25, 1-8 p.m.; Oct. 19 and 26, 1-7 p.m.

Attendees can collect treats, enjoy the decorations, ride the carousel and embark on a train ride. 

Reservations are required. Online ticket sales are temporarily down, so attendees can instead call 217-421-7435.
