LINCOLN, Ill. (WAND) - The Lincoln Memorial Hospital's Trailblazers are now able to walk indoors during the winter months at the Lincoln Area YMCA.Â
Trailblazers can walk indoors on Wednesday at the YMCA at 719 Wyatt Ave. in Lincoln.Â
Anyone is able to join the Trailblazers, a free group that normally walks outdoors on LMH's walking path.Â
Community Health Consultant Molly McCain said, "This is a great opportunity to stay focused on your health and exercise routine during the winter months."Â
You do not have to register, and you do not need a YMCA membership.Â
Walkers are welcome between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning Jan. 7, through March 25.
Prizes will be randomly distributed. Walkers should bring comfortable walking shoes and a water bottle.
