MATTOON, Ill. (WAND) - Amid the ongoing Mattoon water issue, one local business decided to step up to help those in need.
Harry's Gas & Liquor is distributing free water to families in Mattoon and other affected areas in need of water.
"When we saw that Mattoon had a water issue last night, we called up Koerners Distributor! With the help of the DM and rep, we bought the water and loaded up our U-Haul and brought the water to Mattoon," the business said in a July 11 Facebook post.
Those out of water or who need it are encouraged to visit the business.
