Macon County Fair

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Macon County Fair is hosting a free Farmer's Breakfast on Friday, March 13. 

The annual breakfast is planned for farmers, managers, implement dealers, row crop or livestock producers, grain facilities or any agriculture related business and industries in the Macon County area. 

There will be a hot breakfast, three guest speakers, and a progress report about the Macon County Fairgrounds from Fair Board President Evan Hall. 

Guest speakers are Conner Bridgman, Hedging Strategist, "Managing Price Risk in 2026" from Agmarket.net, Angi Carter, Vice President Lending and Laura Enger, Illinois Certified General Appraiser, from Farm Credit, "Interest Rates, Land Values and Fresh Roots program."  

The progress report will include the development of livestock shows during the county fair, the Dallas Beyer Scholarship, harness races, and more. 

The buffet breakfast will be served from 8-10 a.m. at the Pride of the Prairie building on the Macon County fairgrounds in Decatur.
