DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Prodigy Project’s Sliderz Showdown Round IV brought professional wrestling and philanthropy together this past weekend at Sliderz Bar & Grill in Decatur.

The event, now in its fourth year, combines high-energy wrestling action with a mission to support families at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Organizers say the fundraiser raised $8,007.55 this year, bringing the total raised over four years to $22,301.84.

Sliderz Showdown has become a staple event for wrestling fans and local supporters, blending entertainment with charitable giving to make a tangible difference for children and families in need.

The Prodigy Project plans to continue the tradition next year, promising more wrestling action and community support for St. Jude.
