Remote Area Medical in need of volunteers for free, 2-day healthcare clinic in Paris

PARIS, Ill. (WAND) - Remote Area Medical (RAM) a nonprofit provider of pop-up clinics delivering free dental, vision and medical care to those in need is looking for volunteer medical, dental and vision professionals and general support staff for a clinic in June.

The two-day clinic will be June 28-29 and will be held at Paris High School, 14040 E. 1200th Road, in Paris.

The clinic is being held in collaboration with Longview Capital Corporation and the Longview Foundation.

RAM is also in need of general support volunteers to help set up on Friday, June 27 and take down on Sunday, June 29.

Overnight parking volunteers and interpreters are also needed.

Individuals do not need to work in the medical field to volunteer as general support.

RAM’s clinics offer free dental cleanings, dental fillings, dental extractions, dental X-rays, eye exams, eye health exams, eyeglass prescriptions, eyeglasses made on-site, women's health exams and general medical exams.

RAM services are free, and no ID is required.

Free dental, vision and medical services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
