DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A mobile exhibit honoring the Tuskegee Airmen and the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) is coming to Decatur.

The exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 10 to 15 at the Macon County History Museum.

The mobile movie theater will feature two short RISE ABOVE films that tell the stories of the Tuskegee Airmen and the WASP.

The films will take a deep dive into how they overcame challenges to serve during World War II.

According to MCHM, the mobile theater is located in a climate-controlled semi-trailer that can hold 30 guests during each screening.

The film will even create the feeling of being in the cockpit above the clouds.

This event is free, and more information is available online.
