SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Free family-friendly summer concerts are right around the corner in Springfield.
The Springfield Area Arts Council announced its seventh season of the Levitt AMP Music Series.
Entertainment begins at 6 p.m. every Thursday in the vacant block north of the Illinois Governor's Mansion at Fifth Street. And Capitol Ave.
The 10-week live concert series runs from May 28 to July 30 and will feature a lineup of performers from across the world.
Attendees are urged to bring their own chairs to the concerts.
