SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — Thursday's Twilight Parade at the Illinois State Fair got off to a late start. The fair posted on Facebook that the delay was caused by a semi accident.
A Teamsters semi was involved in the incident which took place at the Main Gate. A video sent in by a viewer shows the semi partway through the gate, but not moving.
The state fair's post said that the gate is still open for pedestrian fairgoers.
