SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — The FBI is looking for potential victims to come forward after a Springfield church official was arrested in January for producing child pornography.
54-year-old Michael Mohr of Springfield was arrested and charged with one count of producing child pornography in January, according to the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri.
Mohr was president of the Central Illinois District of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod in Springfield.
Now, the FBI offices in Springfield and St. Louis are looking for additional victims.
The FBI Springfield office said they have reason to believe there are additional victims in central Illinois who may want to come forward, but do not know how.
The FBI is asking anyone who was victimized, or has a child who was a victim, to come forward by filling out a form online. The form can be found here.
