SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - A Springfield church official was arrested on Wednesday for producing child pornography, according to the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri. 

The attorney's office said that 54-year-old Michael Mohr of Springfield was charged with one count of producing child pornography.

Mohr is president of the Central Illinois District of the Lutheran Church –Missouri Synod in Springfield. 

A search of Mohr's Springfield home found storage devices with videos of three juveniles in the bathroom.

Hidden cameras disguised as a wall clock and a Bluetooth speaker were also found in a search of a Vandalia home Mohr used.

An affidavit said the investigation began after one of the juveniles told Vandalia police they discovered a hidden camera in a hotel bathroom after Mohr was said to have stood over them and masturbated. 

Mohr will be held in jail until his trial.
