DECATUR, IL- Decatur Police have made a second arrest in connection with a burglary that occurred on East Elwin Road.

Decatur Police arrested Brenda Strode, 42, on Thursday. Strode has been charged with residential burglary. Her son, 20 year-old Seth Strode, was arrested Tuesday and charged with burglary in connection with the same case.

Police were called out Tuesday morning to Andy's Electronics on South Side Drive in Decatur on a report of a break in. According to sworn statements, police found Seth Strode asleep on a couch inside the business.

After being taken into custody, Police say Seth admitted to also breaking into his cousin's home on East Elwin Road with a friend and taken items out of the home.

Thursday morning, Decatur Police contacted Seth's mother Brenda about her role in the alleged burglary. According to sworn statements, Brenda admitted to police that she was also involved in stealing items from the home on East Elwin Road.

Brenda Strode has been arrested and is being held on $10,000 bond. Â
