5:30 p.m. UPDATE: All lanes of eastbound I-74 near the Indiana border are now open.
DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — A truck tractor semi fire in the state of Indiana has blocked all eastbound lanes of I-74.
Illinois State Police will be diverting eastbound traffic at exit 220 to Lynch Road. Traffic will follow Lynch Road northbound and then Route 136 East into Indiana.
There is currently no estimate for when lanes in Indiana may be open. ISP advises drivers to take an alternate route if possible and use caution in the area.
