Ameren is not happy with a decision from the Illinois Commerce Commission.

The commission voted 3-2 to approve a $5 million increase in basic delivery rates. The utility sought a $130 million increase.

In a statement, spokesman Leigh Morris says the decision may hinder Ameren's ability to provide the service customers expect.

Over the next few days, he says Ameren will thoroughly review the commission's order and determine what steps it will need to take.
