DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - A Danville man who went missing for almost two weeks was found dead on Monday.
The Vermilion County Sheriff's Department said that it was contacted April 4 by a relative of 30-year-old Timothy Strader.Â
The relative said that Strader had not been heard from in around 10 to 12 days. An investigation was started to find him.
Officers searched a building along West Williams Street in Danville April 6 and found human remains inside.Â
The remains were identified as Strader, according to the Vermilion County Coroner. An autopsy will take place on April 7.Â
The investigation is ongoing, and no other details are available.Â
