DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The man who pleaded guilty to robbing a $19,000 Rolex was sentenced to four years in prison.

Macon County court records stated that 19-year-old Jerrion Jarrett was sentenced to serve time in a state correctional facility on Monday.

Jarrett pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery earlier this month.

Decatur police arrested him in March after he had barricaded himself inside a home near the intersection of West Grand Avenue and North Edward Street.

In a sworn statement, Decatur police said the victim told them that two men had threatened to shoot him if he didn't hand over his Rolex watch, which was worth almost $19,000.

The statement said that a third man ran away with the robbers once the watch was stolen.

Two suspects had later barricaded themselves inside a home nearby.

SWAT officers and a K-9 unit eventually joined police and surrounded the home, demanding that those inside come out unarmed with their hands up.

Police found only Jarrett inside.
