DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A shooting in Decatur Tuesday afternoon left at least one person hurt and police looking for evidence in several locations.Â
Decatur police told WAND News that officers were called to the intersections of Jasper and Grand and Jasper and Garfield around 12:30 p.m. for a shooting.
DPD said one victim was taken to the hospital after being shot. Their condition is not known.
Police have not said what led to the shooting or released any information about a possible suspect.Â
WAND News saw officers processing the crime scene and collecting shell casings from the street. Officers were on both Jasper Street and also near N Lowber Street and East Leafland Avenue.
