FORSYTH, Ill. (WAND) — Weeks after many locations were closed due to a corporate restructuring, the Forsyth Red Lobster location has closed due to health code violations.
The Macon County Health Department confirmed the closure of Red Lobster location #6269 to WAND News. We have submitted a FOIA for the inspection report and images taken by the inspector.
No date was given as to when the restaurant might reopen.
The Forsyth store survived the round of closures in May that affected locations like Danville. Mayor Rickey Williams Jr. said all crew members were laid off without notice at the 30-year-old location.
