DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - One person was arrested after a police pursuit in Decatur.
According to the Decatur Police Department, officers were involved in a chase that began after responding to a call. Limited information has been released at this time, but officials say one individual has been taken into custody for endangering the welfare of a child.
The vehicle’s tires were flattened during the pursuit, which ultimately came to a stop near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Maywood.
No additional details about the suspect, the child involved, or the circumstances leading up to the pursuit have been made public.
