(WAND) - A death investigation is underway at Lake Mattoon. 

Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 8 was requested by the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department to help with the investigation. 

ISP said it is not releasing any information at this point to protect the integrity of the investigation.
