SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - An abandoned home caught fire in Springfield Saturday. 

The Springfield Fire Department was called to the 900 block of N. 9th St. at 1:20 p.m. 

Crews found a two-story home with flames showing from the first and second floors. 

The house was boarded up, and no one was inside. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
