Champaign County Circuit Clerk's Office to offer help in expunging criminal records

URBANA, Ill. (WAND) — The Seventh Annual Expungement and Record Sealing Summit will offer help with applying, preparing and filing for expungement and sealing criminal records in Urbana.

You will need a copy of your statewide criminal history report. If you have a criminal history report, you will have a chance to upload it at the end of the registration.

If you already have a report, you can schedule an appointment to be fingerprinted.

Volunteer attorneys and Cabrini Green Legal Aid will be present to help applicants through the process.

The Summit will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 9 am to 5 pm. You will be able to participate in person or virtually. Registration information can be found here.
