DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - We have been spoiled with temperatures hovering in the upper 60's to mid 70's for the past two weeks.
In that timeframe we have averaged a high of 71 degrees, but have been bone dry.
Summer doesn't officially end until September 22nd, so it's never been out of the question for heat and humidity to return to the area and now the summer punch is in sight.
Highs will climb from near 76° Monday to eventually hovering around 90° from Wednesday through next Sunday.
This sudden change will abrupt to the body. It is advised to take it easy when you're outside and remember to stay hydrated.
