CLINTON, Ill. (WAND) - Clinton Community Unit School District #15 Superintendent Drew Goebel will exit from his role at the end of the upcoming school year. 

The District said the Board of Education and Goebel came to a mutual decision to end his contract. 

Goebel will be on a paid administrative leave through the remainder of the school year. 

He first joined the District in 2011 as an assistant principal of Clinton Junior High. 

A reason for him leaving was not given.
