SANGAMON COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) - The Sangamon County Coroner has released the name of a Petersburg woman who died after a crash on Illinois Route 97 Saturday evening.
Coroner Cinda Edwards says Carol Dusablon, 23, was pronounced dead at 7:45 p.m. Edwards says Dusablon died at the scene of the crash, which happened on Illinois Route 97 near Tolan Road.
Edwards also says preliminary autopsy results revealed that Dusablon died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The investigation into the crash is being handled by the Illinois State Police.
