URBANA, Ill. (WAND) - Urbana police are investigating an armed robbery that left one person hurt.
The Urbana Police Department said it happened just before 1 a.m. Sunday near Kerr and North Cunningham Avenue.
Police said two people were sleeping in a parked car when two men showed a gun and demanded the victims' wallets.
The suspects ran away, while one victim chased them. Two shots were fired shortly after.
Urbana police shared that no one was shot, but one person was hit in the head with the butt of a handgun. That person was taken to the hospital for treatment.
