DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - Erin Hoff is the author of Rejected, a children's book teaching kids the importance of being kind.
Hoff decided to write the book because it's something she's always wanted to do.
"That's kind of the goal of this. I want to inspire other people that if you think your dreams are too big, there's no dream that's too big you just need to go for it, no matter what it is. If you want to be an author or get into music or acting or art, whatever your goal is, don't let anything stop you." said Hoff.
"My dream is to be an author but even if that doesn't happen just know that you wrote something that kids will get to read and will be inspired by and hopefully fall in love with the character because it's a great character that teaches kindness and love." stated Hoff.
Hoff also utilized their local printing shop to keep business local and to support her local economy.
