DANVILLE - The shelves of the Salvation Army Food Pantry in Danville are almost empty.

In the past month, 50 new families went to the pantry in need of food.

But with no donations coming in, it makes it hard for the pantry to provide for over 150 families.

They're asking for donations from the community and will anything from food, water, to money.

Captain Judy Lowder says she's hoping the public will reach out and help them provide enough food for hungry families this holiday season.
