SHERMAN, Ill. (WAND) — A Sherman-area daycare employee was arrested on child pornography charges following an investigation by the Sherman Police Department and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
Nigel L.Tiller Jr. was arrested on one charge of production of child pornography, a class X felony, and four counts of possession of child pornography under 13.
The investigation into Tiller began when Sherman Police were notified of a report regarding possible child abuse by an employee of All His Children Developmental Center.
Search warrants and evidence collection led to the arrest of Tiller. The case remains under investigation by the Sherman Police Department and the Sangamon County State’s Attorney Office.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
