DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — One of the area's largest hotel/conference centers is under new management.
According to a post on social media, Horve Hospitality Group sold the Decatur Conference Center and Hotel this week.
DCCH was purchased by Horve Hospitality Group in 2007 and remodeled extensively in 2017. According to the website, the hotel was originally built as a Holiday Inn in 1972 and hosted performances by stars such as Dolly Parton, Porter Wagoner, and Barbara Mandrell.
The post announcing the sale named the Pelia family as the new owners. Hotel and conference operations are ongoing, and Steve and Odette Horve offered well wishes to the Pelias.
