DECATUR, IL- Decatur Police have arrested a woman who was allegedly attempting to get over 1,000 grams of marijuana shipped into the city.
Sandra Lott, 31, has been charged with unlawful possession of cannabis 500-2000 grams and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver.
According to sworn statements, the Decatur Police Department was contacted about a suspicious package that was going to be shipped to a home in the 800 block of West Macon Street. Police searched the package, which was being shipped from Redding, California, and allegedly found 1,092 grams (2.4 lbs) of marijuana in two bags along with numerous articles of clothing.
The package, without the marijuana inside, was delivered to the home on West Macon last Friday afternoon. Police watched Lott take it inside and arrested her a short time later.
Lott is being held on $20,000 bond. Â
