Emergency crews respond to vehicle in Lake Decatur

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Emergency crews were called out after a vehicle went into the water in Decatur Wednesday morning. 

WAND News went to the South Shores area near the U.S. 51 bridge and saw a vehicle in the water.

Decatur police did not say how many people were inside the vehicle but said everyone escaped safely. They did not say yet what caused the vehicle to go into the water.
