WASHINGTON (WAND) — FBI Director Christopher Wray warned members of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday of possible election interference by foreign adversaries in the 2024 elections.
Wray named Russia, China and Iran as the nations most likely to create problems. In 2016, Russia interfered with the election between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton. In 2020, it was Iran creating problems. While China even openly talked about violence against a Congressional candidate.
In 2016, the Illinois State Board of Elections in Springfield saw a voter database hacked by Russia.
