OAKWOOD, IL- The Vermilion Fishing Club may not have to leave its campground as first thought.
The Dynegy Company, which owns the lake and the campground the Vermilion Fishing Club uses, told the club back in April that they must clear out of the area by October.
At a meeting held Wednesday, Dynegy officials agreed to send the club a proposal allowing it to keep the campground open under certain conditions.
No word yet on what those conditions will be.
Club leaders say they expect to receive the proposal by next week.
