CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Illinois State Police are working on a semi-trailer fire on I-57 South near Champaign. 

ISP said the road will be closed at exit 235, and traffic is being rerouted onto I-72. 

Drivers are encouraged to find another route. 

It is unclear when the road will be reopened.
