TAYLORVILLE, IL- A Taylorville man is still awaiting a mental fitness evaluation before his case can continue.
Dennis Adams, 58, is charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting his wife, 32 year-old Jolene Adams, back in August.
During a hearing held Thursday, an attorney for Adams said the mental evaluation has not yet been completed. The hearing was rescheduled for early November.
Adams is currently being held without bond in the Christian County Jail.
