DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Decatur Fire Department was called out for a house fire on Packard St. Wednesday.
DFD responded to the 200 block of W. Packard just before 4 p.m.
They found a 1 1/2 story vacant home on fire.
Crews used a ladder truck to fight the fire. Another crew showed up to help with water supply.
It took the fire department about an hour to get the fire under control.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
There were no reported injuries.
The Decatur Fire Department was helped by the Decatur Police Department, AMR, and the Central Illinois Regional Dispatch Center.
