HOOPESTON, Ill, (WAND) – A 24-year-old Hoopeston man was arrested on Thursday for possession and dissemination of child porn.Â
Illinois State Police say they received a cyber tip which led them to begin an investigation into the possession and dissemination of child sexual abuse material by Connor S. Gilonske.
On Thursday, ISP located Gilonske in Danville and arrested him on the above charges.Â
Following the arrest, police executed a residential search warrant at Gilonske’s residence in Hoopeston, IL.
Gilonske is being held at the Vermilion County Public Safety Building pending his first court appearance.
This ongoing investigation is a collaborative effort between the Illinois Attorney General’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the Vermilion County Metropolitan Enforcement Group, the Vermilion County Sheriff’s Office, the Danville Police Department, the Vermilion County State’s Attorney’s Office, and ISP.
