DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The cause of a house fire is under investigation in Decatur.Â
The Decatur Fire Department was called to a home in the 1200 block of East Prairie Street Tuesday morning.Â
Crews saw smoke coming from all levels of a two-and-a-half-story home.Â
Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control.
No one was inside, and DFD learned the house was vacant.
The home did not have active utility services connected.
The Decatur Fire Department Fire Investigation Bureau is investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
