Illinois dual credit

A new law guarantees those educators are entitled to the rights and privileges of professional educator license holders.

CHICAGO (WAND) - The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) has announced that 24 additional professions can now obtain licensure through the Department’s newly launched online licensing system, known as CORE (Comprehensive Online Regulatory Environment).
 
This announcement signifies the successful conclusion of Phase 2.3 of CORE, with the final segment of Phase 2 expected to wrap up this summer. 
 
According to the IDFPR, Phase 2 aims to incorporate additional license types into CORE that are currently limited to paper applications and aren’t supported by the legacy online licensing system. This initiative will eliminate the necessity for paper applications, which often lead to longer processing times due to the review of submitted materials.
 
Individuals applying for their first license in professions that are now available on CORE are encouraged to use IDFPR's new online licensing system for their application.

Nail Technician School

Cemetery Exempt

Nonresident Mail-Order Ophthalmic Provider

Cemetery Partially Exempt

Nurse Continuing Education Sponsor

Occupational Therapy Continuing Education Sponsor

Cosmetology School

Orthotist

Cosmetology School (Public)

Pedorthist

Electrologist

Physical Therapy Continuing Education Sponsor
