WESTFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — Two people are dead and two are in the hospital after a crash in Westfield Friday night.
Illinois State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on West Lincoln Street near South Division Street just after 7 p.m.
According to police, a vehicle was driving eastbound on West Lincoln Street when it crossed the center line and hit a vehicle driving westbound head-on.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were taken to the hospital.
The road was closed until almost 1 a.m. The crash is still under investigation.
