DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Memorial Cancer Care in Decatur and SIU Dermatology are teaming up to provide free skin cancer screenings in August.
Screenings will be available from 5-7:30 p.m. on Monday, August 24. They will be done by the SIU Medicine dermatology team at Memorial Cancer Care, 210 W. McKinley Ave.
The free screenings are open to residents of Macon, Sangamon, Shelby, Piatt, Christian, Moultrie, DeWitt and Logan counties. Participants must preregister and complete a consent form before the screening.
Memorial Health said people who are currently under the care of a dermatologist are not eligible to participate. Anyone looking to register should call 217-876-4749.
