DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Police are investigating after finding over 40 shell casings in Decatur Saturday morning.
The Decatur Police Department said officers responded to the BP Hotspot on Eldorado Street just after 4 a.m. for reports of gunshots.
DPD said no casings were found in the BP Hotspot parking lot or the road, but officers found 45 spent shell casings just east of the building in the Hardee's and Sunrise Cafe parking lots.
According to police, one house was hit by bullets, but nobody was hurt. No arrests have been made.
