CLINTON, Ill. (WAND) — The Clinton Community Unit School District #15 will appoint an interim superintendent on Tuesday night.
The district will hold a special board of education meeting on Tuesday, July 21 at 6 p.m. to approve the appointment of Chuck Nagel as the interim superintendent for CUSD15.
This comes after superintendent Drew Goebel announced he will exit the role at the end of the upcoming school year.
The district said the board of education and Goebel came to a mutual decision to end his contract. He will be on a paid administrative leave through the remainder of the school year.
